Due to new domain authentication requirements set by Google, it's necessary to update certain DNS records for your domain by January 31, 2024. This step is crucial to ensure continuous email functionality following Google's recent policy changes.
What should I do?
To support the changes, add these three new DNS records to your domain by the end of January 2024:
DKIM Records:
Create two CNAME records:
Record 1:
Name: mte1._domainkey.yourdomain.com
Value: dkim1.mandrillapp.com
Record 2:
Name: mte2._domainkey.yourdomain.com
Value: dkim2.mandrillapp.com
Replace "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain used for sending emails from myQuest. If you're unsure of your domain, feel free to email us at support@myquest.co and we'll assist you.
Note: Some domain hosts might automatically add your domain name to the end of these records.
DMARC Record:
Record Type: TXT
Name: _dmarc.yourdomain.com
Value: "v=DMARC1; p=none"
Again, replace "yourdomain.com" with your domain. Before adding this record, ensure it doesn't already exist in your system by searching for "_dmarc.yourdomain.com". If a match exists with the value "v=DMARC1", do not add the record. If you're unsure, contact us for assistance.
